The Marriage Course

Who is it for?

Couples who've been married for a little while - or for many years.  Couples who are living together are also welcome, and many have enjoyed the course.  It's enjoyable and beneficial for couples who's marriages are strong and happy.  It also helps and encourages those who are experiencing difficulties.  It is firmly based on Christian principles, but has proven to be very helpful to (and enjoyed by) people without Christian faith or church background.

What happens?

Every week the topic is introduced by the leaders or on dvd.  After the talk the couples enjoy a choice of desserts & tea/coffee and spend a little while talking together and working on parts of their manuals.  Privacy is very important.  Couples only talk to each other about their relationship.  There is NO group discussion.

The topics covered are:

Building Strong Foundations; The Art of Communication; Love in Action; Resolving Conflict; The Power of Forgiveness; Parents & In-laws; Good Sex
